The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information that leads to the capture of fugitive David Fontanez of Cleveland, who was charged with the rape of a minor and escape, among other charges, the U.S. Marshals announced Monday.
Fontanez, 36, allegedly raped a minor in the early morning on Jan. 15. He also failed to report to his parole and probation officers, the Marshals stated. He is wanted by the Cleveland Police Department, Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office and the Adult Parole Authority.
Fontanez is a white male who is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 160 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Police believed Fontanez was hiding on the west side of Cleveland. He was last known to live there and has family and friends in that area.
