BROOKLYN, Ohio — Fish fry season is upon us in Northeast Ohio.

News 5 has compiled a list of favorite spots listed by viewers and parish listings. From restaurants to churches, we've got you covered.

1.) Mom's Pierogies: 8467 Memphis Avenue, Brooklyn. (216-309-1570)

Typically known for their pierogi, Mom's Pierogies in Brooklyn becomes a fish fry frenzy during lent. They are open from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday's.

2.) Church of the Assumption: 9183 Broadview Road, Broadview Heights. (440-526-1177)

The Church of the Assumption's Magnificent Fish Fry kicks off on Feb. 28 and goes until April 3. Adults can get two pieces of fried cod or two crab cakes or eight shrimp or eight pierogi for $11.

3.) Prosperity Social Club: 1109 Starkweather Avenue, Cleveland. (216)-937-1938

Coined as 'Its Gotta Haddock" Lenten Fish Fry, Prosperity Social Club is offering a fish from Friday, February 28 to Friday, April 10. The kitchen is open from 11 a.m. to midnight. Click here for more information.

4.) Irish American Club East Side: 22770 Lakeshore Boulevard, Euclid, Ohio. (216-731-4003)

The Irish American Club serves a variety of fish and has live music at every fish fry. They will be hosting their fish fries every Friday starting Feb. 28 until April 10 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Click here for more information.

5.) American Slovak Club: 2915 Broadway Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. (440-245-5146)

The American Slovak Club has been hosting fish fries since 1956. They host them every Friday throughout the year and are open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Click here for more information.

6.) Christ the Servant: 833 39th Street Northwest, Canton, Ohio. (330-492-0757)

They offer fish, shrimp, pierogi and macaroni and cheese during their Lenten Fridays. The fish fries will be every Friday through Lent from 4:30-7 p.m. Click here for more information.

7.) St. Gabriel: 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township, Ohio. (440-325-8282)

St. Gabriel's Lenten Fish Fry has an all you can eat buffet. They run every Friday during Lent from 5-7:30 p.m. Click here for more information.

8.) Our Lady of Peace Parish: 3312 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio. (440-992-0330)

At the Our Lady of Peace Parish's Fish Fry, you can choose between getting a small dinner for $7 or a large dinner for $10. Their fish fry starts at the beginning of February and runs until April 3. For more information, click here.

10.) Donauschwaben's German-American Cultural Center: 7370 Columbia Road, Olmsted Falls, Ohio. (440-235-2646)

The German-American Cultural Center kicked off their Friday Fish fries early and will be ending it a week later than everyone else. They will be hosting fish fries every Friday from Feb. 21-April 10 from 4-8 p.m. Click here for more information.

Holy Family Parish hosts their fish fry every year in their cafeteria. Their fish fries kick off Feb. 28 from 4-6:30 p.m. Click here for more information.

Their fish fries run every Friday during Lent, besides on Good Friday. They start at 4:30 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m. Click here for more information.

19.) Brunswick United Methodist Church: 1395 Pearl Road, Brunswick, Ohio. (330-225-3179)

The Brunswick United Methodist Church has fish dinners every Friday during Lent. Not only do they offer fish, but they also sell pierogi, macaroni and cheese and desserts. For more information, click here.
