Lakewood police have made an arrest in the connection to the 2017 killing of a man found dead in his Madison Avenue apartment.
After a 10-month investigation, police obtained a search warrant on June 18 and arrested Charles A. Muscatello the following day.
Maurice K. Goins, 53, was found dead with multiple stab wounds in his head and neck in his Madison Avenue apartment on August 6, 2017.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office ruled Goins' death as a homicide.
Muscatello is charged with murder and is scheduled to make his initial court appearance in Lakewood Municipal Court.
