Lakewood man arrested for 2018 murder

LAKEWOOD, Ohio — A Lakewood man has been arrested for allegedly killing another man in 2018.

In January, 2018, 70-year-old Daniel Donlan was found dead inside of his Lakewood home.

Officers went to the residence to conduct a welfare check after it was reported that Donlan hadn't been heard from in several days. His body was found by police.

Police arrested 56-year-old Gary Taylor on June 25.

Taylor has been charged with two counts of murder, aggravated murder, felonious assault and aggravated burglary.

He is scheduled to be arraigned on July 17.
