A man took a mighty swing at a paramedic who was trying to help after he slammed his car into a tree in Olmstead Township.
Police say a drunk 25-year-old lost control of his Pontiac Vibe on Oct. 30, hitting a mailbox, a pole and finally crashing into a tree on the south side of the town.
When paramedics responded, police say the man threw punches at the medics who were trying to help. He has been charged with an OVI, possession of marijuana, open container and misconduct at an emergency.
