Douglas Shine Jr., who was convicted on murder charges last month for killing three men at a Warrensville Heights barbershop is set to be formally sentenced Dec. 20.
Shine, 21, could be facing the death penalty for the February 2015 shooting death of Walter Lee Barfield, 23, of Cleveland, Brandon White, 31, of Warrensville Heights and William Gonzalez, 32, of Garfield Heights, at Chalk Linez barbershop.
A jury recommended the death penalty for Shine, 21, at the end of a lengthy trial. He was originally scheduled to be sentenced on Monday, but the hearing was moved to later this month at 10 a.m. If Shine is not sentenced to death, he will serve life in prison with no chance of parole.
