A 24-year-old man was fatally shot after he left the Iron City Cafe early Sunday.
He was walking with a group of people when two unknown men shot at the group, striking the man in the chest and a 27-year-old man in the foot at about 2:30 a.m. at 4002 Jennings Road, according to Cleveland police. The suspects got into a vehicle and fled the scene.
Both victims were transported to MetroHealth, where the 24-year-old died and the other victim was treated.
