Man in critical condition after being shot on Cleveland's east side

No arrests have been made in the shooting of a 40-year-old man on Cleveland’s east side.

The shooting occurred Monday around 4 p.m. near the intersection of East 61st Street and Fleet Avenue.

According to police, the victim was shot by an unknown male who fled the area in a car after the shooting.

The victim was transported by Cleveland EMS to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

The shooting remains under investigation, police said.
