The Elyria Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two vehicle accident that left one driver dead on Friday.
A Yamaha motorcycle was driving northwest on Grafton Road around 9:37 p.m. Friday evening, while a Ford Sedan was traveling southeast on the same roadway.
After losing control of the motorcycle, 37-year-old Andrew Johnson was ejected from his seat, landing in the southbound lane of Grafton road. He was struck by the Ford Sedan.
The driver of the sedan, 56-year-old Vivan Lowery, was not injured. She was checked by emergency medical services at the scene.
Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.
The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation.
