Motown bands who are performing Saturday night at the Civic in Bedford Heights for a pre-planned concert have decided to also honor the artist and superstar known as Prince, following his tragic death Thursday.
"I think Prince was an influence to us all," event promoter, "Brother Daryl," said Saturday.
At the end of the concert, A Night of Motown Magic, participating groups plan to perform "Purple Rain" and share remarks about Prince, Daryl said.
Doors open for the Night of Motown Concert at 6 p.m. and the event begins at 7 p.m., according to The Civic.
