NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio — North Olmsted police are investigating an alleged attempted luring after a 10-year-old girl told her parents that a man in a white SUV told her to get inside his vehicle Wednesday evening.
The incident happened in the 6000 block of McKenzie Road just before 6 p.m., according to a police report.
The girl said she was riding her bicycle two houses down the street from where she lives when an unknown man pulled up to her and told her to get in the car, the report states. The girl jumped off her bike and ran home.
The man drove off in an unknown direction, the girl said.
Police have not released a detailed description of the man.
