Parents arrested after 6-year-old child brings cocaine to school

The parents of a 6-year-old child were arrested after the child was found with a bag of cocaine at a Euclid elementary school.

According to police, the child had a bag of white powder that tested positive for the presence of cocaine. 

Authorities obtained a search warrant for the child's house and a substantial amount of drugs were recovered from the home. Police also seized cash and a loaded firearm.

Both of the child's parents were arrested.

Police have not provided any additional information regarding the incident.
