An 18-year-old teenage boy was reportedly sitting in the back seat of a car when he was shot by a suspect or suspects firing from within a green Ford Escape at East 126th Street near St. Clair Avenue at around 1 a.m. Sunday, according to Cleveland Police.
Officers responded to University Hospital, where the teenage victim was already undergoing surgery, police report. He was driven to the medical facility by unknown persons.
The matter is under investigation, according to police.
