If the ordinance passes, driving under the influence would still get drivers in trouble, but City Council still needs to determine what would happen to someone who would otherwise only be charged with possession.
CLEVELAND — One person was transported in critical condition to a hospital Thursday afternoon after getting hit by a car, Cleveland police confirmed.
Police responded to 11523 Shaker Boulevard for a man who was struck by a car and became pinned under the vehicle, police said.
Cleveland EMS said the pedestrian who was struck is a 48-year-old man.
No further information was given at this time.
