On Friday night, a violent graffiti threat was discovered at Lakewood High School by custodial staff.

The threat made reference to the Columbine shootings. Upon discovery, Lakewood police were notified. Lakewood City Schools sent a message to parents and staff on Saturday, asking for anyone that has information to call the 24-hour security hotline.

Since the announcement, several tips have been reported to the hotline, but there has not been a breakthrough leading to who is behind the threat.

Lakewood superintendent, Jeff Patterson stressed that classes will be held as normal at the high school on Monday. The school said the building will be carefully monitored in the coming days. Lakewood police will also be at the high school and middle schools.

The school is urging anyone with information to call the hotline at 216-227-5311.
