A man has been charged for allegedly shooting and killing his wife in Lakewood.
Police were called at 8:56 a.m. to the 12900 block of Plover Street Tuesday after a man shot his wife, according to a news release from Lakewood police.
The man's father called police to report the shooting.
The 38-year-old man, later identified as Jason White, surrendered to police. The body of his wife, Stacy White, was found on a bed in the basement. Her body was taken to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.
Jason White is charged with aggravated murder in connection to the shooting.
