Authorities are searching for a man who robbed Citizen’s Bank early Saturday morning in University Heights.
Police said shortly before 10 a.m. a black male entered the bank on Warrensville Center Road and gave a teller a note threatening to harm employees if he did not receive money.
Police said the suspect is described as a black male with a mustache and some facial hair and is about 50 years old. The suspect was last seen wearing a blue quilted jacket, a Cleveland Browns baseball hat and jeans.
According to police, after the man left the bank he entered a dark colored sedan occupied by three males and was last seen heading west on Cedar Road.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact University Heights police detectives at 216-932-1800 ext. 239.
Information leading to an arrest and conviction may be eligible for a reward.
