RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Ohio — Richmond Heights police and fire rescued a man who fell down a dangerous incline in his backyard on Tuesday.
Police said the man slipped down a steep hill into a ravine around 1 p.m. and struggled for about seven hours before authorities came.
Around 8:15 p.m. two officers were searching for him and heard the man yelling.
Despite slick conditions, officers and members of the fire department were able to rescue him with a harness.
Fortunately, the man sustained no injuries.
