A 22-year-old man was shot to death in Maple Heights Monday and now police are searching for the killer.
Police were called around 10:40 a.m. to Sunnyslope Apartments for a report of shots fired.
When officers arrived they found 22-year-old Ernest Swift lying on the ground with gunshot wounds. He was transported to UH Bedford Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Witnesses told police that the vehicle that left the scene was a maroon 2000 GMC Jimmy with Ohio license plate GKU6856.
Police say the suspect is a young adult who was wearing blue jeans and a blue and gray jacket.
