Bratenahl police tells NewsChannel 5 that escaped inmate, 21-year-old Gevonne Smith was arrested by the North Royalton police department.
A source said he was arrested Friday.
Bratenahl police said he is in North Royalton jail awaiting new charges, but are not able to provide details at this time surrounding the arrest.
NewsChannel 5 has reached out to North Royalton police for comment, but they have not responded to the request.
Smith ran through the doors and escaped from the Bratenahl police station in February while being booked into jail for burglary, police said.
After the escape Bratenahl police searched the area using K-9 assistance.
