BROOK PARK, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol says it has not responded to any calls for objects being thrown off overpasses, despite social media rumors.

Troopers said they have not received any credible information and that a social media post from a few days ago has drawn concerns from people.

"At this moment, that I am aware of, we have not handled any crashes or property damage complaints due to folks throwing objects off of the overpasses," a spokesman said today.

Troopers said they are being vigilant and taking the calls seriously.
