STRONGSVILLE, Ohio — The Strongsville Police Department said on Facebook Sunday evening that it is aware of rumors circulating about “alleged plans of unrest” and is taking appropriate precautions.
The department has increased its staffing and its presence in the city, according to police.
While the department is still investigating if the rumors are valid, it is “prepared to keep our city safe” and the safety of its residents is its top priority, police said.
There have been no reports of conflict or any damage done in the city.
