A 62-year-old woman was found dead after a SWAT standoff in Cleveland Tuesday.

The standoff on Archmere Avenue started around 11 a.m. after a man told police he had shot a family member.

Just before 3 p.m., 57-year-old Richard Williams was taken into custody. 

A neighbor said he heard a gunshot around 10 a.m. 

Police described the man as suicidal and said he had access to weapons.

The victim was identified as 62-year-old Linda Myles.

Authorities have not released an official cause of death. 

Williams has been charged with aggravated murder, a first-degree felony. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 18.
