A Cleveland woman is in custody after authorities found a suitcase of marijuana worth nearly $100,000 in her car during a traffic stop on Jan. 22.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 28-year-old Jessica Strother is currently being held in the Medina County Jail on third-degree felony charges of possession and trafficking in marijuana.

Troopers said they pulled over Strother's 2015 Jeep Cherokee on Interstate 71 in Cuyahoga County after she was spotted speeding and making a lane change violation.

A police K9 unit searched the vehicle and troopers discovered a purple suitcase with 24 pounds of marijuana worth around $96,000 inside.
