The two women killed in a shooting in Chagrin Falls Thursday morning have been identified.

Police said the women and their alleged killer were all longtime workers at the assisted living facility.

The women were identified as 58-year-old Catherine Sutter of Burton and 58-year-old Terri Treadway of Chardon. They were both part of the cleaning crew.

Police said the man who was injured in the shooting is the suspected shooter. He was taken to the hospital from the scene and was said to be in critical condition. His name has not been released but authorities said he was a chef at facility.

According to the Chagrin Falls mayor's office, the shooting happened at the Hamlet Village independent living facility on Hamlet Hills Drive around 8:30 a.m.

Treadway and Sutter were confirmed dead at the scene and taken to the Cuyahoga County Coroner's Office, officials said.

According to the superintendent of the Chagrin Falls Exempted Village School District, the district evacuated the intermediate school in the area "out of caution."

Kenston Local Schools and Chagrin Falls Exempted Village School District students are on spring break.

Family members of staff and residents are asked to call Hamlet Village, not the police department.
