A Warrensville Heights High School graduating senior was killed and two other graduating seniors were injured in a crash involving a semi early Monday morning.
The crash happened around 2:10 a.m. on Warrensville Center Road just north of Miles Road in the northbound right lane in North Randall. It's not known what caused the crash.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. She was later identified as graduating senior Ashley Richardson. The other two victims were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment. They are currently in critical but stable condition, authorities said.
The Warrensville Heights City School District will offer grief counseling services on Tuesday from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in room 101.
