A huge marijuana grow operation was busted in Geauga County Tuesday afternoon after the Geauga County Sheriff's Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration executed a search warrant.
The bust happened in Thompson, which officials say is just one of three locations. The other two are in Ashtabula and Lake counties.
Authorities seized about 1,000 marijuana plants valued at approximately $5 million from the Thompson location. They also seized cultivation equipment.
This is one of the largest indoor grow operations uncovered in Northeast Ohio, according to the DEA.
Three people were arrested.
