NORWALK, Ohio — The National Weather Service confirmed that a EF-1 tornado touched down in Huron County Tuesday evening.
The tornado touched down about 1.5 miles south of downtown Norwalk, according to the NWS.
Winds reached 100 mph during the touch down. The tornado’s path was 1.5 miles long and 50 yards wide, the NWS said.
There were no reported injuries but multiple large trees were damaged in the storm.
