LAKE COUNTY, Ohio — An 11-year-old girl from Lake County turned down Christmas gifts in exchange for donations to help the county’s homeless pets.
Bronwyn inspired her friends and family to contribute nearly $1,000 in her honor.
“At just 11 years old, she's already got such a compassionate heart! We cannot thank supporters, like Bronwyn, enough for thinking of the homeless animals of Lake County and helping us rescue abandoned, abused, neglected, and unwanted pets that have lost their way,” the Lake Humane Society said in a news release.
Bronwyn and her grandfather, Tony, delivered a variety of donations to the shelter.
The Lake Humane Society runs solely on donations to provide care to pets in needs, while offering programs and services to the community. Find more info here.
