MENTOR, Ohio — The Mentor Ice Arena and the Wildwood Cultural Center will be closed though the end of the year due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases in Lake County, according to the City of Mentor.
As of Monday, Nov. 23, the Mentor Ice Arena and the Wildwood Cultural Center will be closed through the remainder of the year.
The decision came at the recommendation of the Lake county General Health District, the city said.
All public activities and scheduled events at the facilities have been canceled, according to the city.
Those who have registered for an event at either facility will receive a refund.
The city said it will make a decision at a later time about when the facilities will reopen.
