Mentor Police looking for man who robbed a CVS on Christmas Day

Mentor Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a CVS Pharmacy in Mentor around 4:00 PM on Christmas Day.

The suspect, described as a six-foot-tall white male in a black hoodie, entered the CVS at 9040 Mentor Ave, handed the cashier a note demanding money from the register and fled the store with an unknown amount of cash.

 The suspect then fled the scene in a 1980s full-sized Cadillac sedan with Oklahoma plates.

Willoughby Hills Police Department spotted the suspect going west bound on I90 in the described vehicle, which was determined to be stolen.

Willoughby Hills police pursued the suspect until the chase because too dangerous as the suspect continued through the intersection of Murnick Road and E. 200th Street, where the suspect struck a parked car and continued to flee.

Mentor Police Department is investigating the incident and the suspect is still unknown at this time.
