Police officers from across Lake County came together Saturday afternoon at Great Lakes Mall in Mentor to spread the message about not drinking and driving this holiday season.
The “Protect and Serve Tavern” set up at the mall Saturday. It’s an annual event that started more than 30 years ago.
The Lake County Sheriff, lawmakers, judges, police chiefs, among others tied on aprons to spread the message about driving safely and sober this holiday season.
Free coffee, juice, pop, and snacks were passed out to shoppers.
