An alleged dealer accused of selling a fatal dose of heroin to a Lorain man earlier this month has been arrested for involuntary manslaughter.
Police responded to a home in the 2200 block of West 14th Street on April 3 for a report of an unresponsive man.
During the investigation, officers learned the man had overdosed on drugs, suspected to be heroin.
The man, 53-year-old Charles Everett, was taken to Mercy Hospital before being flown to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police learned Everett had purchased the drugs from 52-year-old Christopher Linder of Lorain.
Linder was charged with corrupting another with drugs and involuntary manslaughter and arrested on April 8.
