NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio — North Ridgeville police are telling residents not to panic if they see a helicopter in the next few weeks.
Despite popular conspiracy theories, the helicopter is not crashing, looking for Jack the Ripper, or spying on you for the government.
North Ridgeville police posted on their Facebook page that FirstEnergy will be inspecting lines until August 31.
The company will be flying slowly above the lines and possibly trimming vegetation too close to the lines.
Seeing the helicopter is not a reason for residents to call 911.
