The man and woman found dead in a car in Elyria late Sunday have been identified.
The Elyria police department identified the victims as 32-year-old Michael Lewis and his wife, 22-year-old Fannie (Thomas) Lewis.
Elyria police were called to 128 Foxhill Lane just after 10 p.m. Sunday for a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found the two victims in a Chevrolet Traverse with New York license plates.
The man was in the driver's seat and his wife was in the passenger's seat, police said. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy is scheduled to determine cause of death.
Elyria police continue to investigate.
