Police charged four people on Tuesday in connection with the death of a man who was found fatally wounded in an apartment unit.
Elliott Kirkland, Mark Sanchez and Jasmine Schafer were charged with murder for the slaying of Jimmie Holland Jr., 38. Latrice Thomas was charged with obstructing justice in the death of Holland, according to a Lorain Police Department news release.
Additional charges are pending.
Officers responded to an apartment complex in the 900 block of Lexington Avenue Monday morning after they received a call of a deceased man. Police found Holland in an upstairs apartment unit. It appears Holland died from gunshot wounds.
