UPDATE: Guardians of non-verbal child found by Lorain Police identified

A non-verbal child was found by Lorain Police Department on Thursday morning. 

The police department turned to social media to help identify and find the child's guardians. After recieving calls and tips, the child's guardians were located. 

Just before 10:00 a.m. Thursday, a boy was found near Long John Silver's Seafood restaurant on Cooper Foster Park Road. He appears to be on the autism spectrum, not communicating with officers. He would not share any information on his identify, residence or the location of his parents.
