Police executed three search warrants in Lorain Thursday, leading to the arrests of seven people and the shut down of three drug houses.
The first warrant was executed at a home in the 1500 block of West 44th Street after Detective Matt Bonkoski received information about activity in the home. When officers arrived they found Jermaine Ross and Aaron Ross inside. During a search of the house officers found two guns, more than $18,000 in cash, more than 120 grams of heroin and more than 100 grams of cocaine. Police said the home was set up to prepare, package and distribute illegal drugs.
Aaron and Jermaine were arrested and charged with trafficking and possession of heroin and cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and weapons under disability. They are being held in the Lorain City Jail.
Jermaine's 2005 Nissan Mazima was also seized.
The second warrant was executed at a home in the 3000 block of Colorado Avenue after Detective Chris Colon heard there was non-stop traffic at the house. Officers searching the home found five people, more than 40 grams of cocaine and a small amount of heroin. Four people were charged in connection with the search.
Michael Keith Kincaid III was charged with trafficking in cocaine and possession of criminal tools. He is being held in the Lorain City Jail.
Kimberly McMullen, the homeowner, was charged with possession of cocaine and permitting drug abuse.
Andrew Robert Flynn was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing official business.
Renee Michelle Simko was charged with possession of drug abuse instruments.
The third and final warrant was executed in the 1000 block of West 10th Street after Detective Howard Heathcoat had learned that Teresa Wallington was allegedly distributing cocaine and heroin from a home on West 9th Street. After the investigation began, police say Wallington closed up shop and moved to the home on West 10th Street.
During the execution of the search warrant, officers found a couple grams of heroin inside the home, according to police.
Wallington was arrested and charged with trafficking and possession of heroin.
