An undercover operation in North Ridgeville singled out three establishments for selling alcohol to underage informants.
The North Ridgeville Police Department conducted a sting operation, targeting the sale of alcohol to people under the legal drinking age.
A 17-year-old boy and 18-year-old girl worked as undercover police informants.
The teens were denied the purchase of alcohol at 15 of the 18 stores they visited.
Three workers sold alcohol to the teens at Marathon, Giant Eagle and GetGo, all on Ridge Road.
The employees who sold to the minors were issued citations.
