HINCKLEY, Ohio — A 13-year-old boy in Hinckley has died after an accidental shooting, according to the Hinkley Police Department.
The accidental shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. on River Road.
The boy was transported to Cleveland Clinic's Brunswick campus and later flown to Metro Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
"While the incident is currently under investigation at this time, the initial investigation indicates this was sadly a tragic accident," chief David Centner said.
