An 18-year-old died after the car she was a passenger in went of the roadway and struck a utility pole in Guilford Township, Monday.
The driver and another passenger were transported to hospitals.
Anastasia Taylor, of Cambridge, died at the scene, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Medina Post.
A 19-year-old Rittman teen was driving a Chevrolet Malibu south on Acme Road when the car reportedly went off the left side of the road. It struck an embankment and became airborne, striking a utility pole at around 5:30 a.m., troopers said.
The driver was transported to Akron General Hospital.
A 20-year-old man from Homerville, who was a passenger, was transported to Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital.
Highway Patrol stated the driver and the Homerville man were wearing seatbelts.
The use of alcohol and drugs are unknown at this time, according to authorities.
