BRUNSWICK, Ohio — Two residents and two firefighters were hospitalized after a house fire on Miner Drive in Brunswick Thursday night, according to a release from the city of Brunswick.
Firefighters from the Brunswick Division of Fire responded at 9:57 p.m. to a house fire in the 3900 block of Miner Drive where residents were trapped.
Crews said a large volume of fire and heavy smoke were seen coming from the first floor.
Despite the intense heat and zero visibility, crews were able to extinguish the fire.

There were no working smoke detectors in the home.

Multiple departments from other cities responded to assist with the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
