Drug task force agents executing a search warrant in Brunswick last week ended up finding more than 20 pounds of marijuana-laced brownies in an apartment.

According to the Medina County Drug Task Force, the pot brownies were found during a search at the Stoneybrook Lane apartments late Friday.

Several ounces of what is believed to be THC extract was also taken.

The man living in the apartment, 45-year-old James Hirsch, was arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana.

A 17-year-old girl who was in the apartment with Hirsch at the time was released to her parents.

newsnet5.com talked to the Media Drug Task Force director, Garry Hubbard who said that while heroin is their main concern right now, they'll continue to crack down on every drug dealer in the area.

"It's still illegal, it's still a felony to sell it and we are going to continue to enforce that until the law changes," he said.

David Hirsh is out of jail, according to officials, but he may face new charges when the department finishes their investigation.
