BRUNSWICK, Ohio — A Brunswick elementary school will be closed the next two days after a bed bug scare.
A bug was found in a student's folder, according to a Facebook post from Brunswick City Schools.
The bug was caught, sealed in a bag and taken to the Medina County Board of Health to confirm that it is a bed bug.
The district said that as a result of their bed bug treatment, a pest management company reported no live pests in the building.
As a precautionary measure, the district will again bring in a professional pest management company to investigate and treat the school.
The school will be closed Thursday and Friday but will reopen on Monday.
