A Brunswick man has been sentenced to spend more than 11 years in prison after thousands of images and videos of child pornography were found in his possession, according to U.S. Attorney's Office.
A judge sentenced 54-year old Scott M. Wroten to 136 months in prison after he previously pleaded guilty to the receiving and possession of over 100,000 images and 1,000 videos.
The videos and images depicted minors in explicit content, including bestiality and sexual abuse, according to authorities.
Officials said Wroten started collecting amassing the content in 2011 and continued until 2016.
