MEDINA, Ohio — After announcing that the 175th Medina County Fair was to be postponed until 2021, the Medina Agricultural Society-Board of Directors voted to rescind its decision and the fair is back on for its original dates this year.
The Medina County Fair will be held on August 3 through August 9.
Consideration to rescind the vote came following new guidelines for fairs issued by the state in its Responsible Restart Ohio plan.
The new guidelines and revisions prompted the fair board to re-vote and it determined it would be able to hold the fair this year while still maintaining health and safety standards for fairgoers, staff and exhibitors.
