KENT, Ohio — A Kent man has been arrested after allegedly shooting his brother multiple times with a rifle.
The shooting happened around 6 a.m. Friday in the 1100 block of Lake Street.
John Hardaway Jr., 31, has been charged with felonious assault, according to police.
The man's brother went to his apartment to check on him, but an altercation ensued, and that's when authorities say Hardaway grabbed a rifle and shot his brother multiple times.
Hardaway's brother was transported to Akron City Hospital. His current condition is unknown.
Hardaway is currently being held in jail without bond.
