UPDATE | All phones are now functioning at the Portage County Sheriff's Office following a brief malfunction. Non-emergency calls should be directed at 330-296-5100.
The main phone lines are down at the Portage County Sheriff's Office Tuesday morning.
If the public needs to contact authorities in an emergency situation, the 911 lines are still available, and can also be used for non-emergency calls during this time.
News 5 will update this story when the lines are functioning again.
