The Richland County Sheriff's Office is looking into a report of a man who tried to lure a 10-year-old girl into his car.
According to a report, a girl, 10, was approached by a man in a car on Monday in the 700 block of Marion Avenue. The girl was able to provide police with a description of the car and the suspect.
The girl told police the suspect was a white man, between the ages of 30-40, had a medium to large build, was bald, had a small round face, and had no facial hair.
Police said the girl described the car to be an older model that was tan in color with two doors. It had a rounded front end. It was possibly a Pontiac G6. There were also possible scratches or damage to the lower area of the driver's door.
