A Canton man accused of killing two men in a Canton home last week was arrested outside a Georgia juvenile detention center on Friday.
Isaiah Sanders, 20, reportedly told his parole officer that he feared "that the police were going to shoot him," which prompted him to meet somewhere with cameras.
Canton Police Captain Jack Angelo said Sanders knew he was wanted for the shooting deaths of Joshua Weatherspoon and Eryc Higgins in Weatherspoon's home. He was also wanted in Atlanta for violating his probation when he was arrested for possession of a firearm while committing a felony.
There were reportedly three small children in the home at the time, along with their mother, who was identified as Weatherspoon's girlfriend. Police reported that the woman's hands were bound with zip-ties when the two men were shot to death in the kitchen.
